"The wide, open spaces of the huge pastel-colorured malls and glistening department stores gave me a clear vision of the sound I wanted for this project. I designed the album as a trip through the imaginary Dream Plaza mall - going shopping, watching the crowds go by, taking a break at the cafe, and feeling melancholy as you depart."
